The program is targeting an unusual anomaly for sulphide zones with potential for nickel, copper and gold as well as rare earth mineralisation.
Two deep diamond drill holes are each being drilled to an approximate depth of 550 metres with funding assistance from the WA Government Exploration Incentive Scheme.
Both holes are vertical with about 150 metres of reverse circulation drilling and 400 metres of diamond drilling to an approximate total depth each of 550 metres.
Drilling is expected to take several weeks depending on water, logistics and sub-surface conditions.
This work is being carried out by DDH1 Drilling, one of Australia’s leading mineral drilling contractors specialising in deep hole directional drilling services.
